Dr. Tracy Hankins, MD, PC
Looking for Breast Augmentation?
Dr. Hankins Plastic Surgery is excited to offer body sculpting to his patients.
Body sculpting and traditional liposuction are similar. Dr. Hankins will discuss how many liters will be removed during the procedure for your safety and to maximize results. Liposuction body sculpting differs a bit to regular liposuction in that the downtime after the procedure is reduced, and patients love that they only need to take a few days out of their work schedule. The procedure is performed under local anesthesia, and it is cost effective.
After the surgery, sutures are removed in one week. Patients are placed in a compression garment for six weeks. Most patients return to work within two to seven days, depending upon activity level. After seven days, patients are able to workout and regain full activities. Patients will begin to notice 70-80% of anticipated results typically about four weeks postoperatively. After about six months, the end result is visual.
